  1. ទៅ ( adv ) [tɨv]   - detail »
    forth, further, from now on, from then on; away, off (often used as a fp indicating that the action began at some point in the past or present and continued on into the future or that the action is directed away from the speaker)
    Eg. ប្រពន្ឋថា ភ្លេចខ្ញី​ ទៅហើយអ្នក​! បើដូច្នោះ អ្នកឯង​នៅនេះសិនចុះ​ ខ្ញុំរត់ទៅវាឆាប់. ហើយ​នាង​នោះ​រត់​ទៅ​ : The wife replied, `(I've) forgotten the ginger! If you stay here, I'll run and get it.' And she ran off.
  2. នោះ ( dem ) [nuh]   - detail »
    that, those; often serves simply to emphasize something already referred to or something distant in time or space
    Eg. ឯគីង្គក់និងអណ្ដើកខំតាមដានទៅ បាត់ដានត្រង់ដើមឈើនោះ : As for the toad and the turtle, they tried to follow the trail, (but) they lost it right at that tree.
  3. នឹង ( pvp ) [nɨŋ]   - detail »
    future tense marker; will, about to (នឹង​ is often written for និង​ and vice versa)
    Eg. ចាំនៅគល់​នោះ​ចុំ​​! ខ្ញុំនឹងឡើងទៅចាប់វាឯលើ : Wait at the base (of the tree). I will climb up to catch him at the top.
